Srima
This small tourist village is connected to Vodice. For Srima we can say that the whole place is like one big beach. Beautiful pebble beaches provide complete peace and relaxation. This Dalmatian place is often visited by families with children. Enjoy a beautiful seaside promenade, visit a restaurant and enjoy delicious ice cream.
However, for more fun, you should return to Vodice.
Prvić island
Prvić, like Srima, it stands out for its beaches. Two places are inhabited, namely Prvić Sepurina and Prvić Luka. Beautiful crystal sea, attracts many visitors. You can visit the island without a car in one day. Ten meters after you arrive in Sepurine by boat, stretch out on the beach and refresh in a beautiful blue.
In addition to the beaches, try the island’s Dalmatian specialties at one of the local restaurants. From cultural monuments, Prvić Luka visits the church and monastery of St. Mary of Grace from the 15th Century. And in Sepurine there are two churches: St. Jelena, and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Most important for each visitor is the Faust Vrančić Memorial Center, the creator of the modern parachute. Although he passed away in Venice, his body was moved to Sibenik at the Cathedral of St. James. Later, at Faust’s will, the remains were transferred to the parish church of St. Mary of Grace, along with one copy of each of his books. We can confidently say that Faust is one of our most versatile humanists. He was a lawyer, philosopher, historian, lexicographer, inventor, hagiographer and theologian. In addition to his most famous invention, the parachute, a prominent place is occupied by bridges and mills.
